Commercial/Light Industrial/Office
The intent of this district is to provide land in appropriate locations for commercial, office, and light industrial uses which are similar in nature, and which improve employment opportunities and strengthen the economic base of the town. Such activities should not adversely affect the natural environment, adjacent residential areas or community facilities. However, in order to preserve appropriate land for such uses, residential uses and some types of commercial and industrial uses are not allowed. In order to maintain this protection, this zone contains more stringent buffer requirements for neighboring residential zones and uses.
